NLMK says steel output falls by 2% to 4.4 mln tns in April–June
MOSCOW, Jul 25 (PRIME) -- The steel output of Russia’s Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) fell by 2% on the quarter to 4.4 million tonnes in April–June, the company said in a statement on Monday.
Consolidated sales decreased by 12% to 4 million tonnes in the period due to contraction in demand on the key markets.
In January–June, NLMK's output fell 1% on the year to 8.9 million tonnes. Consolidated sales rose 4% to 8.6 million tonnes.
